The earth in whole has no energy on her own. But the sun is the principal source of energy to the earth that drives all life and activities on earth. The earth according to Geographer's is 108 million kilometers away from the sun but the sun gives out light to the earth and large amount of energy.
The sun do not only Powers the earth but keeps the earth warm enough to be inhibited by living thing's. Its keeps living beings warm and provides energy that drives all life on earth. Without the sun life on earth will not exist. Is the major source of life to plants and animals. Its essential.
