Saint valentine was a christain priest who lived roman. During the 3rd century. Ad emperor Claudius II outlawed marriage for young men , because he believed that single men will make a better soldiers.
Saint valentine defiled the rule and continued to perform secrets marriages for couples in love.
When emperor Ad Claudius discovered , he had valentine arrested and executed on February 14.
During his imprisonment, saint valentine is said to have healed the daughter of his jailer , and converted her and others to Christianity. Before his execution he wrote a letter to jailers daughters signing it, from valentine.
